Just pay your rent on time and take care of your property and you will earn a lender credit that you can use toward the purchase of a home through our affiliated network.

There are several things that you can do during this year, to learn about the home purchase process and your borrowing situation that may help you decide when a home purchase is right for you.

Check your credit…

You may find that you're right on target and you are ready to request a pre-approval through one of our affiliated lenders(link to a page with our lenders), or you may need to try to improve your credit rating over the next few months. Our lenders can advise you on ways to make improvements or you can refer to online resources such as:

At the end of your lease…

…you have options.

1. You may sign your Property Manager's lease renewal and reserve using your lender credit for next year.

2. You may be ready to utilize your lender credit to purchase a home.

3. If you're moving to another city,

• And you want to purchase, you may work with our national real estate broker and lender network to utilize your lender credit to purchase in that city. Your property manager can refer you to our national partners.
• And you want to continue renting, please ask your property manager to refer you to one of his fellow property management professionals in your new city . You may also consult our network of property managers (link to NARPM Property Manager Search page) to find a reputable property manager in that area. Please ensure that you keep your lender credit by working with another property manager who is a Rent2Buy America program participant.
